Water
Water is a clear liquid, without color or taste, that falls from the sky as rain and is necessary for animal and plant life.

Sources of water such as rivers, streams, lakes, reservoirs, springs and groundwater that provide water to public drinking water supplies and private wells.
1. Canal
Canal is a long, thin stretch of water that is artificially made either for boats to travel along or for taking water from one area to another.
2. Faucet
Faucet is a device that controls the flow of liquid, especially water, from a pipe.
3. Glacier
Glacier is a large mass of ice that moves slowly.

4. Handpump
Handpump is a pump operated by hand, especially for drawing well water or draught beer.
5. Lake
Lake is a large area of water surrounded by land and not connected to the sea except by rivers or streams.
6. Ocean
Ocean is a very large area of sea. It is the large mass of salt water that covers most of the earth’s surface. Ocean is also used in the name of the world’s five main divisions of this mass of water.
7. Pond
Pond is an area of water smaller than a lake, often artificially made.
8. Rain
Rain means drops of water from clouds.
9. Sea
Sea is the salty water that covers a large part of the surface of the earth, or a large area of salty water, smaller than an ocean, that is partly or completely surrounded by land.
10. River
River is a natural wide flow of fresh water across the land into the sea, a lake, or another river.
11. Stream
Stream means water that flows naturally along a fixed route formed by a channel cut into rock or ground, usually at ground level.
12. Tap
Tap is a device that controls the flow of liquid, especially water, from a pipe.
13. Waterfall
Waterfall refers to water, especially from a river or stream, dropping from a higher to a lower point, sometimes from a great height.
14. Well
Well is a deep hole in the ground from which you can get water.
* It is a deep hole in the ground from which water, oil, or gas can be obtained.
15. Wetland
Wetland is an area of land that is naturally wet. It is a large area of land covered with swamp or marsh.
